Chemtrails

You know the trials behind planes when they fly across the sky; they are called "Chemtrails".  Some people believe that they very sinister and some people do not (As this is apolitical, you are hereby given both side of the story). The thing is, as people are very interested in this topic, there are a lot of FoI requests regarding this. So what have they found out?  Let's find out!
This is a passionate situation and a lot of difficult argument have been made on this case. If this is true then it is something that affects everyone's health (Especially since I live over one of the biggest crossovers for planes in the UK!), so what does the Department of transport say about chemtrails.  Two different questions (Find them here and here) and one same answer:
"The Department has no credible evidence of chemtrails or any matter or aerosol being ejected from aircraft in the UK, other than the normal exhaust products from aircraft. As such, the Department holds no information on chemtrails other than that provided with this response"
They also gave a web address for studies they have done into chemtrails. So the Ministry of Defence was asked about their knowledge of Chemtrails. Well, you can read your response on the link, but the interesting this is that they also provided a link to the government own investigation of Chemtrails and other weather modification tools.
The MoD once were accused of spraying over the general public.  What did they say when asked about this?  A search of their records shows no evidence of spraying (Other than the Red Arrows), but the MoD did give another address where this issue was discussed.  The Isle of Wight were also asked about the issue of Chemtrails, in regard to weather modification.  Having been to the Isle of Wight, this may have been wishful thinking in regards to their abilities\budget...
What about the Civil Aviation authority? They answered the question of Operation Skyfold (read the final response) and answered the question about the additives in the fuel, as fuel additives are:
"approved for use in public transport aircraft are controlled by internationally developed and recognised specifications. The approved fuels and allowable additives are listed by specification in the limitations defined for the aircraft Type Approval and outlined in the Type Certification Data Sheet (TCDS) and the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM)"

So what's the issue here?  Well, the thing is this is an important matter and a lot of investigation has been done on it.  It's interesting to see how many people who have looked into this matter and got the same answer. That being said, as Mark Twain once said "if everyone is heading in the same direction, then you really need to stop and think"... Could further probing find something out about this issue?  Who knows...
PS have a little look at this one by the back door.
