Please can you tell me how much money has the House of Commons has invested in renewable energies for itself. Please can you also state how much money it is estimated is saved because of the use of renewable energy and what specifically it has bought.
For those of you that have not seen these amazing buildings, it’s pretty hard to imagine that they have solar panels on them (That being said the House of Lord’s does have a shooting range). To be honest, I forgot about them as an aside doing all the other things. Then I rediscovered it and thought “why not ask what Wales is doing for Green Energy”. So I did. Every Welsh Council in Wales was asked the same Questions:
Please can you tell me how much money has the council has invested in renewable energies for itself. Please can you also state how much money it is estimated is saved because of the use of renewable energy, and what specifically it has bought.

What REALLY struck me was that within moments, Newport got back in touch and stated that they did nothing. I don't mean ten or twenty minutes on getting back, I mean mere minutes (Nathan Duke, global wamring is all your fault!!!) . It also struck me how much is actually spent on this sort of thing. They are pretty expensive. It also shocked me to see how many council are playing the really long game on this one, like the Vale of glamorgan expects to save over the next twenty years. Fair play.
Anglesey gets a special mention in the middle of all of this because they have spent an absolute fortune. And I am not doing them justice when it comes to this list either. Not only have they spent the most, but they have spent a lot more on their council houses as they have upgraded them ALL with solar panels for the tenants there. Amazing!
This section is written on the 05/07/16. I have only just got the numbers for RCT. The amunt they have spent is INCREDIBLE!!! I am going to cut and paste part of their response "The Authority’s Energy Team has been in existence since 2009 and have been very proactive with energy projects across the board". They aint joking are they? here are some of the things that they have been getting:
Variable Speed Drive, Voltage Optimiser, and pool covers. How amazing is this. RCT, you are totally amazing.

So all in all we can see two things here. Green energy is being looked at by Welsh councils BUTis defaintely a long term thing.
